Mount Sunapee

Mt Sunapee ski area is 20 minutes drive from the cottage. With 65 trails and slopes, served by 11 lifts, Mount Sunapee has been ranked with the best overall snow surfaces in the east five years in a row by the annual Ski magazine Reader Survey. Mount Sunapee resort is also the ski/snowboard home to the New England Handicapped Sports Association (http://nehsa.org).

Whaleback

Smaller but equally enjoyable, Whaleback ski area is just 20 minutes drive north at Exit 16 on I-89. With trails for all levels of ability, this ski area is a favorite with local schools as well as board riders.
